Here is a little
history of the car. I bought the car in December 1989 from the original
owner in El Paso, Texas. The car had been stored in a warehouse and had not
been driven for about 10 years. The body and paint were in great condition.
I replaced all the suspension bushings, ball joints, etc., and also the fuel
pump. The car fired up with no problems whatsoever after 10 years of
sitting! I have heavily modified the car,including ipd suspension and
camshaft, Corvette power seats, VDO gauges,custom black exterior trim, Volvo
16-inch alloy wheels (shown only in the first photo, with car cover sitting
on the roof). The car is great to drive, and I have enjoyed attending many
of the Volvo club meets in the eastern US and Canada. I someday hope to
bring the car to Australia, where I am currently living. //Greg |
